Anyone can be sub 20

I think it is possible for most people who stick with it, but the path is different for everyone. Steady lookahead and clean turning helped me more than learning lots of new algorithms at once. A short video review would be a kind way to spot the biggest time loss.

Agree with blenser4 — I think most people can get there, it's mostly about what you actually practice rather than talent.

What worked for me was splitting practice up instead of just grinding timed solves: a few slow, untimed solves where I forced myself to spot the next pair before finishing the current one, then a short timed session, then a bit of time on whatever felt weakest that day, usually planning more of the cross or tracking pairs during F2L. That mix moved my times a lot faster than solve after solve.

If you're around 25-30 and feeling stuck, it's usually lookahead and cross, not more algs. Cool idea offering video reviews, by the way.
