I know its a stretch but hoping maybe I could find a place in houston that sells any diy kits

Probably not, but you can buy Visa or Mastercard gift cards (usually $25, $50, and/or $100) almost anywhere, such as gas stations, walmart, grocery stores, etc. Just get the ones with the pre-set amounts, not the load-your-own-amount ones. The pre-set amount ones don't require any age to buy, and you can use them anywhere that accepts credit cards, including online. I've gotten many cubes that way, so that I don't have to buy storebought ones or beg my mom to order me anything.
