Another example of how much better my LL is than my f2l:

try learning some new things, like keyhole method or something. i always find that rewarding. also, try some OH, and 2x2-5x5 for a week or two, & try to avoid 3x3 2H. when you go back to it (you wont have forgotten algs) you might notice an improvement. ive always found this with instruments, and i dont think cube is massively different :)

F2L : :40 :29 :47 :24 :37
4LLL: :23 :24 :15 :16 :13

I'm around your level, my f2l is usually 35seconds, and my ll is usually 15-20. I pause and have to think more in my f2l, but I can do my ll algorithms pretty fast. that's why it's longer for me.

I haven't actually reviewed any videos of myself on this, but just guessing, I would say that roughly 25-30 seconds of my solves are turning, 3-5 seconds is determining OLL and PLL cases, and the rest is spent frantically searching for f2l pairs.

My times are generally
F2L: 10-20 (14)
LL: 4-10 (6)
Something like that.
I should really work on my F2L too...
I find going slow and calmly works. Turning as fast as I can and pausing a lot, I get about the same time, but it's much more stressful.
