Another Air SM Problem

Hey guys, this kind of goes along with my other post, but when I got my gan air sm back into a cube again, the edge pieces are really wiggly and there is some space between the center cap and the edge piece. I tried loosening and tightening the screw that holds the piece together, but nothing seems to be working. This gives my cube an uncomfortable, floppy feeling, which I really don't like. Thanks

Did you remove the springs?
