Hi everybody ! I've learned how to solve a Rubik's cube in July 2007 to avoid being bored during the queues at a roller coaster park, but that was it, I was averaging around the minute. I wasn't interested in speedcuing yet. Then, last december, a friend talked about Rubik's cubes, so I brought mine, and showed him. He also learned a method to solve it, different from mine, slightly faster, so I had to learn a better method too because I like competitions, then I got addicted and ended up to learn the full Fridrich method, I'm now averaging sub-19 :).

I still need to improve some points, like to get better PLLs cause I didn't know the importance of this detail yet when I learned them xD, and of course the F2L...

My PB is 14.10" with pretty easy F2L like 2 or 3 pairs in three moves and PLL Usym, sub-20s were very rare at that time :/. I've improved since..

This days, I really like solving the 2x2x2 because it's fast xD. (avg5 sub-6)

I'm trying to improve my 4x4x4 solves but I kinda suck :/. (avg around 2'30")

During summer holidays, I will learn a BLD method even though I pretty much see what to do. I also want to be able to solve the square-1 even if I'm slow.

Otherwise, I love skateboarding, I've been skateboarding for like 7 years.
And I just realized that I've written a lot already :/.

By joining this forum, I hope I'll find some nice tips and actually, a friend of mine told me about contests here. Since on the French forum (yes I'm French '_'), the organizers of these kinda contests are very busy these days, I'm coming here especially for that and I hope I'll have fun competiting here :). I will start competiting when I'll be more used to this forum because it's all new to me ;).
PS : sorry for English mistakes :/.

Welcome :)

Lol nice story you got there. I actually read the whole thing ;)
