-->> Were can i buy this cube?
I found it on the internet a little way but i lost the link of the shop.
It is in the UK that i know for sure.

It is an aluminum cube with leather stickers on them.
It's pretty expensive (i believe it's about 150€) but it is so sweet i'm going to order it.
But i can't find the link anymore :mad:.

Another detail: it is a shop that only makes custom replica's such the Rubik's Cube, Monopoly, chess etc etc etc

You can find it on this webpage, but... here's what it says:

Rubik’s Cube® Information
The ultimate Brain Teaser – this iconic eighties puzzle is given the luxury treatment with an inlaid leather and nickel trimmed cube. Hours of frustration lie ahead for the “ultimate” in “executive toys” or it can just be a groovy paperweight!

Please note: this cube is not suitable for “speed cubing” as the metal used in its construction does not “give” like the original plastic cube and therefore each plane needs to be exactly lined up before it will allow turning. Corporate enquires welcome where logos/messages can be inlaid.

Yeah, to bad it isn't for speedcubing.
But that's ok for me... have enough other speedcubes...
It's just some 'i-must-have-that-thing' :)

Geoffrey Parker!! That's the guy i was looking for!!
Thank you very much younglady... i'm in your debt... Kneels humble

He thats my silver cube (no 092), strange I still have it , I can not remeber you visit me ;)
My silver cube is worth 0$ since I will never sell it

As a wife of a colletor once told me , "his collection has no value, he never wil sell them"

btw the diamond cube of Diamand cutter was dismanteled a long time ago, so the silver cube is to most expensive Rubiks cube (with the official brand name)

Hi Ton, yes i took the picture of your webspace... sorry for that ;)
I didn't know that the Masterpiece Cube was dismantled... Oh well... 2000$ for a silver one is still pretty expensive :p.

Off topic: i'm jealous at your collection! You truly have one of the biggest cube history collection...

@Guusr: you also have that silver limited edition cube?
i wonder how many cubes are still 'alive and kicking' of the 2500 made

Looks so cool... But I doubt it turns easier and/or cuts corners as good as the plastic one, or am I wrong perhaps?

Ton will give you the right answer but when you visit www.geoffreyparker.com (he sells the aluminum/chrome cube) than you will read that the cube isn't suitable for speedcubing.
It doens't 'flex' like plastic does

Ton,

I was joking a little, I was talking about my silver cube which I won at WC1982
It weights about 2kg and Rubik's signature is on it!
And I will never sell it too.
I tried too load a picture of it but uploading failed without error message
