I use a couple unique PLLs. For F perm (block on left), I do (R' F R f' R' F R2 U R' U' R' F' R2 U R' S), and for Gc perm (headlights on left), I do (R2 u' R U' R U R' u R2 f R' f'), which is really slow at first, but (in my opinion) is the best alg once you get good at it.

Lets try to get alternates for all the algs

I had a revelation. Actually it's really dumb.

As an old beginner, I tried to avoid learning algorithm unless it is really necessary or helpful. So, for Z-Perm, I use only this:

M' U' M'2 U' M'2 U' M' U'2 M'2 U

That means I often have to rotate the cube before I could use it eg with this

I must have rotated hundreds of times, and this morning I found that I can just do the last U-turn of the algorithm first, and avoid the rotation! So dumb

Question- why isn't this taught in all the beginner material I have watched or read?

Answer- they make beginner material as easy as possible.And convert to twizzle time
