i was thinking of getting on AII, AIII, D, or B.

For the D I will put an A core in.

For the I will put a strorebought core in which should i get.

Can I recommend a Diansheng. There my main and I like 'em alot. Never pops, moves fast, but might not be the best at corner cutting. There like 3.99 each also so yeah.

I have an AII and the new AII(according to the thread on this site but I bought it as The new third model Type A on cube4you).

All I can say is that both are really nice when set up to a nice setting(most probably personal preference). The AII has a lot of friction but after plenty of lubing and a tight tension, its nice. I can really use a high tps. It clicks a bit and is quite loud. New AII on the other hand is nice loose(mine) or tight(amostay2003). Being loose you really have to be smooth with the turning which is good as it doesn't lock up much and you can speed up quite a bit if needed. Being tight, you can really just focus on tps.

On both cubes I've achieved sub-10 singles and sub-12 avgs of 5. Right now I prefer my AII over the new AII.

Note: My AII has a D core on it so perhaps that makes a difference. The core I got was bent.

Cores do seem to matter. From what I have gathered about the A II, it does need to be on a tighter tension setting or it will pop like crazy. The only reason why I don't really like the A II is because the tracks look and feel a little weird. That's no good reason to not use it if you're quick with it though.

I'll have to agree with you on the New A II. It's a very decent cube once broken in. It will cut corners very well even on tight tension settings. But the cube feels a little weird because the cubies are so light that the core and screws seem heavy in comparison. So for some people, it's awkward to handle since it's a little "axis-heavy."
