I always thought my voice sounds weird on YouTube, but I realized that I’ve consumed thousands of YouTube videos and never really judged someone’s voice. My first video I was sick and my voice was horrendous but I posted it anyway and no regrets.

Just use your voice, I was skeptical about using mine, but I prefer to cringe when I make a video then using that crap

I hate videos with AI voices. I mean, I get that it's easier, but doing it yourself helps build confidence when you're speaking to people in-person.

i dont care how someone sounds as a person.

what i hate is the trash ai slop voice that gets me angry as heck.

if youre gonna make a yt, your voice is the thing people hear the most. i dont judge people based on how they sound or their accent, but by the quality of the content they make. an ai voice is the worst thing you would want to do when starting youtube

Seeing someone's face and hearing their real voice creates trust between the viewer and the creator, even if subconsciously.

Personally, I've found myself clicking off videos after hearing an ai voice.
