Accidental Algorithms

Clockwise: R U R' U' L' U' L U2 R U' R' U' L' U L
counter clockwise: L' U' L U R U R' U2 L' U L U R U' R'

I accidentally discovered those too, but never used them.

I'm sure others have found this before, but a while ago I found out that if you do a Niklas and a Sune, it solves the J perm. With move cancellations, the alg goes like this:

L' U R U' L U2 R' U R U2 R'

That's my normal J perm alg.

Other algs I've accidentally discovered include the nice l U' R2' D R2 U R2' D' R and some disgusting alg I no longer use (and can't even remember) for one of the "awkward" OLL cases.

I came up with one the other day. If you do the fish:
R' U2 R U R' U R

Then do the fish on the opposite side, so left:
L U2 L' U' L U' L'

It will flip to corners leaving them in the same spot. Comes in handy for BLD.

Yep!, I found that alg in 1981 :p

If you do not do that first turn and move it to the end instead you can modify it so you get two Ra's in there, like this (I do it from the "backside" compared to yours = R U2 R'...):

(x) U2 R' U' R U' Ra' U2 L U L' U Ra (x')
