So, hello everyone. Today I want to tell you a way to get better at any cube.(Improvement time can vary.)
A few ways I want to talk about, first one is:Stop being lazy and learn algorithms that are good and fast not ones which are easy to learn.
This is a thing i realized how crucial it was when I was learning Ortega/Varasona on 2x2.I didn't want to learn 1 look.It felt challenging and boring, so I sucked.(12 sec average on 2x2) Second thing is:WAYS TO PRACTICE!
There are 2 practises in my opinion. One is what I call learning by solving or intuitive practice. This shines on bigger cubes. Because you can't just learn cases for the possibilities of 4x4 centers.Thats hard and impossible. You learn by trying to solve it over and over again and when you see it just not needing to even think to execute the moves. This is an easy mentality:JUST SOLVE And the second is harder:GOALED PRACTICE(Aimed practice) this is more about your mentality than you solving a lot. Solving a lot is crucial. But mentality, even more. So for example I was learning F2L look ahead.(At least trying to improve it) But I couldn't. Then I just started thinking about it. Telling myself:Look at other pieces! try to find other pieces, dont just look at the top layer to hope for a piece to come!" By saying that to myself I suddenly improved. It's amazing how your brain affects everything. Thanks for reading and I hope I helped you improve!
