A New Cubing Community Online

WhatTheCube.com (WTC sounds familiar for some reason)

World Trade Center :/

Also, can't people abuse the system by having friends give each other easy challenges? Like "I challenge x to solve a 2x2 underwater..."

oh, mid typing I realized how it worked. So the panel of judges assign points. So if it's an easy challenge, hardly any points could be assigned?

And tehy should have a profile where they state their averages, because a challenge for one person might be impossible for another person.

This has been done actually.

Oh and where did you get cube "realm"? Stealing my idea? Lol

JK JK, It was my site's slogan( Aditya's Speedcubing Realm, but now I have changed it)

Take a look at virkill.com and my site. I had the community stuuf( Profiles, videos, contests, etc.) on my site, but nobody joined so i just took it off. Virkill has some 30-40 members, my site has 20 so yeah.

I can still put it back if people would like to join.

hmm i like this idea and id join.

Im not to fast my avg last time i checked is, 33.80 seconds but meh...

Sounds interesting, you should make a rubric to be graded on so that judges dont just arbitrarily assign points. they need a guide to base their decisions on but, one that allows some flexibility.

i for one really like this idea and id vote for UberCubers, its got a nice ring to it.

as for generating revenue i would say that, you should give points for donationts which you set up with a paypal account, that seems like itd be easiest.

I dont like the idea of premium memberships so just assigning points to a dollar value would be a good idea.
