Hello, this is Alex Beng here. I'm from Guangdong China, now interested in 4x4(and higher) BLD and smart/bluetooth cube hacking. btw, i'm being able to solve 4x4 BLD with open eyes, lol. So it's hard for me to memorizing and i'm doing memorize practise.

Out of Cubing, i also did(and doing) some work in robotics. i have participated in HuroCup 2019 in Korean, and got some medals. At the undergraduate level, our team make a 2-finger Robot for solving Rubiks cube:

the robot takes sub20s to solve, which is longer than my OH with 4 fingers', LOL.

Cool robot. Does it solve the cube with a human comparable method or just the shortest computer generated way?

Iv'e built a Lego Mindstorm robot. This solves the cube in around one minute with 25 moves.
But it is very picky. It solves only Rubiks Brand cubes when the light is good.

The Latter, It was using 2-phase search alg for solving. here is the lib we use: min2phase. The lib can use only several ms to get a sub21-move solution.

We also meet the problem of color recognition, so we use the same brand(but not Rubiks because hard to buy ) cube too.
