One day I was just messing with my cube and found a method that isn't really fast but I think it is really fun.(I don't know if anybody else has created a method like this.)

Step 1 Finish the white side with either yellow or white

Step 2 Finish yellow side with white or yellow

Step 3 get the white/yellow corners on their correct sides using R2 L2 F2 B2

Step 4 finish the middle edges with the same or opposite colors Using moves like M,U2,M'

Step 5 get white/yellow edges on the right side Put a white or yellow edge over the area it needs to go in and use the move R',L,F2,L',R

Step 6 Finish the middle edges using some kinda roux method or something.

Yes I do know that this looks like the thistlewaite method but it is different and in my opinion easier.

You're moving around your edges far more than you need to.

1. Solve the top and bottom corners (white and yellow if you like)

2. Solve the top and bottom edges. Remember the middle layer is free space so you can use it to slide edges into and out of place.

3. Turn the cube so that the solved layers are now on your left and right. Solve the middle layer as you said with moves like M, U2, M'

4. Now all that may or may not be left is to orient the middle layer edges. Try M U M U M U2 M' U M' U M' U2

I like making new methods. My first was to make a side, then the other side using few algs, then permutate the m layer. Really its a waste of time but it lead up to many new methods, one of which I am investigating for a purely intuitive solve for people who do not want to learn algs but still get sub 1 min ... btw it starts using one prong of the cross =)
