A few things everyone should know

Why do potatoes only grow alongside straight roads?

They don't like forks.

I saw a mad potato the other day. He was boiling mad.

Apparently, the Irish government is set to chip in to the potato famine investigation fund. I suppose they're trying to get to the root of the problem.

I can't find any more puns... They're all buried somewhere. Do they constitute majority of that figure?

I had never heard of that, thanks for sharing. In this case, it is something much more complicated than simple grafting. Whether or not it is a chimera I think depends on the developmental processes involved in producing it, but I would guess it deserves the term more than just grafting different species together. Simple grafting I wouldn't call chimeras, as in many instances it's possible to remove the grafted plant from the host, and have them both continue to grow as separate individuals. If you planted tomato seeds from a tomato-potato grafted plant, you're only going to produce tomatoes. Not a tomato-potato hybrid or a mixture of the two specie.
