a chinaminx or not?

my mom just ordered a megaminx on ebay and im not sure if its good or not. http://i2.ebayimg.com/04/i/001/19/57/1608_1.JPG theres a pic. it was pretty cheap so i wouldnt be surprised if its a cheap chinese one

haha !!!! woo thatths the one i have, well not exactly but its the same model, and its pretty dirt cheep (price wise) but i love mine, (lost a peice at church recently though..... good thing i have a spare ) there ok, work that baby in for a while dont ajust the tention imediatly lube it after its shown some improvement and watch it fly!!! (notice this enthusiasm? yes its genuine)

i like it as a minx to practice with but you might wana get a mefferts later at some point.

just know that it is a good puzzle, i like mine, be patiant with it, thank mom, and have fun with it.

If you don't like the Chinaminx, the new megaminx that comes in black or white on cube4you and 9spuzzles is of great quality, turns just as nice as a mefferts, but does have a tendency to pop.

It's a PVC Megaminx, they CAN be good, but I don't like mine. You have to change the screws and springs and all that to make it really good, and I just don't like mine much.

haha well idk. when i got mine it was evil... stiff, but i persisted and it got better, then i lubed it and it was grand, no strain on my hands anymore. oh and have a bit of fun with this fact. i ordered 2 and apon recent (5min ago) inspection i found that they had different screw spring sets, one with slightly stronger springs so i swithed them and the one with weaker springs and higher tention feels..... dare i say it.... better
