9spuzzles transparent cube

hey does nayone have the transparent cube from 9spuzzles.com? looks cool but im wary of the quality...

I have a transparent cube from cube4you / 9spuzzles. I actually bought it from mitchell at the US Open and he had actually gotten translucent stickers from Hidetoshi, which is just really cool. Anyway, the cube itself is really nice, acutally my favorite for OH, but since it's clear, I can't use it. I've had my previous PB of 12 on it, so it works well.

Hmm, the transparent cubes are type (b), which... aren't supposed to be the best? I do have a type (b) black cube though, and it's no good for speedcubing.

The A,B,C ratings are for the quality of plastic. I don't have any of their puzzles, but I heard B, and C are generally not used for speedcubing. I'm not sure why the plastic is lower quality, or how it affects speedcubing, but to be safe, I would avoid it. If you are a collector, then I would say go for it. If I had extra cubing money lying around, I would probably just get one for the collection.

Also, as masterofthebass have stated, transparent cubes are not allowed at official cube competitions.

Transparent cubes, oddly enough, end up being relatively good for speedcubing.
