Lol Rudinie, there are a lot of cubers you'd never realize were nerds until you got to know them. On the other hand, there are a lot of cubers you never realize are a huge nerd until you get to know them (but it's quite obvious they're rather nerdy on the outside, it's just the amount of which isn't quite known until you get to know them).

The only two "nerdy" things about me are my cube habit and video games (and what guy 15-30 doesn't enjoy playing a lot of video games?).

I don't think you quite understood, I was saying that there are the nerds that you can't tell are nerds until you get to know them (ultimately when it comes down to it, we're all nerdy about something; by all, I mean all people, not just speedcubers. I was also saying that there are also nerds who you can tell are nerds but you just don't know how much of a nerd they are until you get to know them.

If you learn as many algorithms as I did you will have that too... it's not a question of more luck or not, it's just a matter of influencing probabilities pure math (and a bit of luck sometimes)
