[NAR] 7.33 3x3x3 single Harris Chan

Awesome solve, Harris! Congrats! You deserve it.

Also, thanks to all @ TOW. It was a great competition. Big thanks to Dave and all who helped organize. Can't wait for the next one.

can the organiser of the comp give us that scramble?

B2 F2 R2 B2 D2 B2 D U2 B2 L2 U R' B' U' F2 U' B R2 U' L' F

lol, I found his solution at first try speedsolving it :p 7.77

Could you share with us what his solution was? I'm probably just being stupid, but I can't see it. I've found several rather obvious (and amazing) solutions requiring around 40 moves, but none of them have a PLL skip.

(And by the way, I did terrible speedsolving it - I can't handle extended crosses when speedsolving. :()

sorry Mike, I didn't realise I should post it :o
what I did was:
R2 F y' U' F' R F2 U (7)
x2 RU'R' (3)
U LUL' R'UR (7)
U2 L'U2L2UL' (6)
y' URU'R' (4)
U2 FRU'R'U'RUR'F' U' (11)
38 moves in total, so if Harris did the same, then he had 5.18 tps.

edit: I should read all of the thread before posting -.- at least I know I had the same :p

Thanks guys - a very cool solution.

And congratulations Harris on a great solve!

To give you an idea of the kinds of things I was looking at, they were F2Ls like this:
z2 D L U L F U R'
y U' R2
y U2 L' U2 L U L' U' L
y L' U L

20 move F2L! And while I guess those first 7 moves were a little hard to see in 15 seconds, I don't know that they were impossible - I would think someone might have been able to see them. (Alas, though, I found no PLL skip at the end.) The possibilities on this scramble were amazing.
