Haven't posted for skoob in a while.

DISCLAIMER: If you're offended by foul language, I suggest you mute the sound.

Decided to post here for a change. =)

Skewb: LanLan, owned by AL60. It's pretty nice, actually. It's got Izo stickers and lube of some sort. I guess syringe lube works on LanLans.
Method: Mine, with lots of tricks and shortcuts to avoid s****y cases.
Soundtrack: DCI 2012 Finals. I claim no ownership; it was just background music. If anything, if you don't know what Drum Corps is, look it up! It's amazing stuff.

I notice I frequently talk to myself when I'm solving. At the next comp I go to, perhaps I'll try to see if I can carry a conversation throughout a solve.

I don't think that'll happen for a while.

I can foresee skewb results becoming ridiculously fast within a relatively short amount of time. The puzzle's easy to learn, but takes some time to get particularly good at. I'd guess that if skewb became official, there'd be an influx of interest and practice that would yield results that would leave today's skewbers in the dust.
Skewb is one of those puzzles that's not dirt easy but not at a comparable difficulty level to 3x3. With a lower God's Number, its deep-cut enigmas, and the restrictive hardware of today, it's a different type of solving altogether.
Also, I'd think the WRC (who iirc now handles potential contenders for new events) has other items on their agenda.

My Lanlan is great. I've done like 1000 solves and it hasn't popped once -- turns better than my QJ too.
