ok i am looking for an algorithm that swaps these two centers on a 6x6x6

however if i remember right you need to swap 3... so i guess it would be like..

swapping these 3 on only one face, thanks in advanced i suck with comms

EDIT:

another thing, is it possible to rotate a single center on a 6x6x6 (assuming you need to move around center pieces like shown ^, if so is there an alg for that too?

is it for a super cube?

no i am trying to make patterns with my 6x6x6, it just cheats to look up algorithms of how to get a complete to a solved cube. the problem is usually a few things:
a)pll parity, the pll parity i use moves the centers around, this is no good for patterns when you dont know how to move centers with comms very easy xD
b) single center flips 90 or -90 degrees,this is also a centers issue =(
c)impossible corner flips (can be fixed easily though, but rotates a center)

For the oblique center swapper, (in the front face)
2R U' 3R U' 2L' U 3R' U' 2L U2 2R' (SiGN Notation))

worked! ty! but i still have one face that needs to be turned 90 degrees... have a alg for that =D

a d c a
d b b -
- - - c
- - - -

to swap these around (a for a, b for b etc, with -'s meaning irrelivent) would cause my pattern to rotate 90 counter clockwise.

d and c are variations of what i asked for in op so i can do them, but a 3 center cycle of outer corner centers and inner centers are now what i need =D

thanks for helping

One face can be rotated 90 degrees on a 6x6x6 (or any other even cube), but you must also swap two corners as well. It's impossible otherwise.

So you can use a T-Perm, such as R U R' U' R' F R2 U' R' U' R U R' F', to rotate the top center -90 degrees and others to rotate +90 degrees. From there you can solve back the edges with the pure PLL parity algorithm I gave you above. You will still have 2 corners swapped because there does not exist a pure 2-corner swap (one that doesn't affect any centers cannot exist).

EDIT:
No problem.
