5x5x5 Rubik's Cube

Are the 5x5x5 cubes sold on rubiks.com retooled ones? I am not sure because my old retooled one did not have that logo. If it is not retooled, can it still be made into a good cube for speedsolving?

the retooled ones just pop much less, lots of people speed solve with non retooled 5x5's. its really luck of the draw with rubiks 5x5x's because a lot of them suck.

Ok, thanks, I think that should do for me since I don't mind POPS too much right now. =) I do not mind buying a new one in the future if I have too.

I would bet yes because they were out of stock for a long while until very recently. I bought a second one for parts do to the centers breaking on my old one.
