5x5 x centers compatibility

are the x centers from the retooled 5x5 compatible with the old style 5x5's...if they all break as quickly as this one it will quickly cost me the price of a new cube if I go the cubesmith route.

I have one of these

and it seems I will have to buy one of these

Very dissapointing to spend 30 bucks and have something last less than 2 weeks...not to mention the amount of stickers coming off
will the x centers work??

I cannot guarantee it, but I am almost certain they will work
