After successful 3BLD and 4BLD this was the next logical step.
Double parity solved serparately and suboptimal algorithms executed with my cold fingers - whatever, I'm glad I'm finally done with this.

Scramble: a luckier-than-average handscramble.

This got me thinking: has anyone ever done anything (challenging) while solving 5x5 blindfolded?

I cant even wrap my head around how you solved a 5x5 without getting dizzy on riding the bike backwards! And you did it blindfolded! Legendary.

I did a 3bld solve on a unicycle here, but haven't tried 4 or 5bld, I might in the future if I ever get good at better at bld.
