4x4x4 Rhombic Dodecahedron: Centers Parity?

Hi I'm new here. I recently bought, what I think is called a 4x4x4 Rhombic Dodecahedron online and have found it soooo confusing compared to any other puzzle I have encountered. I can get the centers (the points made up of 4 pieces each with 2 colours) to the point where I have only 2 left and they are always scrambled. Does anyone have any information on how to shift the remaining pieces in a way that doesn't screw up the rest of them. I have knowledge on solving 3x3x3, 4x4x4, 5x5x5 and 6x6x6 cubes and a 3x3x3 megaminx.

I think it's like a 4x4x4 supercube. So you just have to swap centres within a face.
