4x4x4 alg ?s

I mainly solve the 4x4x4 with the reduction method. After I solve the centers and I'm pairing up the edges, are there any other edge cycles other than a 3-edge cycle? The only one I know is
(Rr)' F R' F' (Rr)
and its mirror
(Ll) F' L F (Ll)'

I've heard of a 6 edge cycle but I don't know any alg for it. Any help would be appreciated.

What you are lokking for is called commutators.

Go to how to section and look for the blindfold method for the 444 cube. You'll find some usefull cycle of edges and how to make your own.
