(for a last layer where edges are unpaired)

So I finally learnt the 4-cycles, thanks to Dan Cohen and Lucas Garron for algs. Only for opposite edge pairs for now, but you can always conjugate (x' R U' r' U2 r' U2 r F2 r2 F2 U2 r F2 r' F2 r2 U' R') or just use setups. Turns out they were also on this page with a few other nice ones aswell.

UFl-UBl-UBr-UFr; r U2 r2 U2 r' U2 r U2 r' U2 r2 U2 r
UFl-UFr-UBr-UBl; r' U2 r2 U2 r U2 r' U2 r U2 r2 U2 r'
UFl-UBl-UBr-UFr; r U2 l' U2 r U2 r U2 r' U2 r U2 r2 U2 l r' U2 r'
UFl-UFr-UBl-UBr; r U2 r l' U2 r2 U2 r' U2 r U2 r' U2 r' U2 l U2 r'

These, along with the algorithms on this page allows you to solve any two remaining edge pairs in one algorithm.

This means that before this, you have to place two edge pairs in two algorithms to 3-look. There are many different ways to attack this; two cycle algs, pair + 3xELL place and other tricks. What I want to know is how you'd approach this step, as I find most cases quite easy and it seems that there's always a simple two alg solution hiding in there somewhere, but some hard cases do rarly occur.

Mockskin put me onto using F3L style trickery for particularly unfriendly cases, you can almost make them up on the fly. I'll try to post examples if it comes up.

Ooops. Try x' R U' r' U2 r' U2 r F2 r2 F2 U2 l F2 l' F2 r2 U' R'.

There's also a bunch of weird stuff. (SiGN)
