Hello, I have been able to solve my 4x4 for a few month now and I just received my Aosu. (was a rubik's brand)
And now I don't really know what method to choose. I tested hoya, Yau but I think I prefer redux and tracking the edge I pair while pairing the others.

So is there any others good method or do you have any tips with redux ?

Also is there an oll parity algorithm I can execute before OLL. (As you don't have to save orientation and permutation I thought there could be a simplified one)

There are some other methods (I use K4 for example) but I would recommend yau. It's pretty much the best method there is currently...

I actually know of a better OLL parity :) that isn't OLL+PLL parity like TDM's
you can force OLL skips or better cases

It's the front/back mirror of my alg. It also does double parity (is that even a bad thing? It makes no difference...)
And because it's the mirror, you can still use it to force skips in exactly the same way.
Also my alg is just as fast; I've done it in 1.96.

Thank you guys, I will post some timing when I'll feel more comfortable with the 4x4 !

So I think like yau is the way to go for me. I trained a few days by now and I discovered that some people using yau do different pairing method.
What I do is that I solve F2Centers the go on 3 cross piece solve the other centers, and then pair 3-3-3.
Is it good, bad, just about preference ?

Off topic : It's quite pleasing how training for just a few days with the 4x4 reduced my 3x3 average by almost 2 seconds now!
