Hi! I have developed a new 4x4 solving method based on roux. As far as I can tell, it does not yet exist.
1.) build two opposite centers
2.) build FB as in meyer
3.) solve SB the same way but without DFR corner.
4.) solve last 4 centers using 2R, 2L, M, and U moves
5.) insert RF edge into DB slot
6.) pair edges two at a time, using dFR as a buffer to move pieces into position.
7.) solve last corner-edge pair into SB
8.) fix OLL parity
9.)CMLL
10.) roux LSE+PLL parity
Pros: utilises blockbuilding, low algorithm count, can be rotationless
Cons: uses lots of slice moves,
Please let me know if this already exists. I have done as much research as I can and haven't found anything, but if anyone knows of a method like this please tell me.
*edit* this is nearly identical to the shadowslice-meyer variant of meyer except edge is specifically second block edge and is placed in a DB instead of UL
