4x4 and 5x5 - step by step

Could anyone that is pretty fast at these puzzles write out in notation how you solved these scrambles? I think I am doing way too many moves, maybe I can see how I can optimize my solves?

What method are you using? If AvG, I'd recommend going to his tutorial post and going over his examples. If bigcubes method, I'd go there and look at the sequences they have posted.

Also, there was a post a while back which shows many people's move counts. Here is the post:

Hah, my move count is pretty high compared to those. I use bigcubes.com method, btw. I was just wondering if anyone would want to write out their moves for centers + edges.

I don't solve that method, but for someone to write out 150+ moves would take a long time. Maybe have someone do a video showing the moves they are doing with a scramble you have on your cube.
