[3x3] [Unofficial] 1 Push Up Per Move Competition Thread

As the title suggests, this thread is dedicated to a slightly strange way to solve your average 3x3 - for every move you do 1 push up.
*RULES*
You just time yourself doing a 3x3 solve (you can have 15s of inspection beforehand) and you do a push up for every move (rotations don't count). It's fine if you rest between moves, so as long as you do the push ups you're fine!
When doing this challenge, it must be 1 move and then 1 push up. If it's an OLL or PLL alg then you can execute it, followed by the pushups seeing as you don't have the muscle memory when doing it one move at a time. Only times set using this method will make it onto the leaderboard, due to it being considerably harder to do 1 move and then a push up straight after (it also takes longer).
Whoever replies to this thread with his/her times & move count will be added to the leaderboard!
Good luck guys!

I haven't really got too many rules for it, except for that you just time yourself doing a 3x3 solve (you can have 15s of inspection beforehand) and you do a push up for every move (rotations don't count). It's fine if you rest between moves, so as long as you do the push ups you're fine!
I will be making a leaderboard, so whoever replies to this thread with his/her times and move count will be added!

Could I do like 7 moves then do cross, another 8 and done an F2L pair or do I need to do the move after the push up

What I wrote in Unofficial WBs thread-

It might be cool to have a sort of currency system for one turn one pushup, where you can do as many pushups as you want and however many you do, you earn the right to do that many moves. For example, you can do one turn, then one pushup until the cube is solved or you can do 50 pushups and do 50 moves, whatever your strategy is. The final time is however long it takes you to solve the 3x3 using moves that you 'earnt' by doing pushups. The pushups have to be with good form, with straight body and chest almost to the floor(no using knees, a little bit of bad form at the end is OK)

What @CubeLite was suggesting I think

Yes, you could do the push ups and moves in any order - just count your moves correctly!

Definitely! But I think we should be allowed to rest whenever we want between the moves and pushups, right?

Also I just failed a 2:51 with 67 moves because I apparently forgot how to do an F perm 😭
Should I adjust the rules so that you can have a sheet with all your algs in front of you while you solve so that you don't immediately forget due to no muscle memory? Then we wouldn't get such annoying fails.

You should be able to rest whenever I think, but also I'd say muscle memory is part of it, and the more pushups in a row you do near the end the less issue you'll have with muscle memory(if you did 17 pushups at PLL you could have done the F-perm in one go). Also I'm busy today but I'll try this when I can

Okay - I just tried it by doing a solve first then the moves (67 again) and it was 1:43. Do you think this should count? Because it might be too easy to get fast times so we leave it at 1 push up then 1 move or 1 alg and then the amount of push ups for the alg?
Also sorry for disrupting you because you're busy!

The pushups have to be before the moves, and we can put a cap at 20

Define pushup...
No cheating form, hands roughly shoulder width, arms need to lock out each rep, chest should touch the floor(without putting weight and using floor for support) or come close to the floor, only the arms should bend(body should only move down from arms bending) and no sagging, must stay in a straight line. Done I defined pushup

Now define life

I hate my bad efficiency so much lmao, I got 5:24.85 with over 80 moves. My strategy was to do a set for each step, so I counted the moves I would need to do for cross in inspection, then did that many pushups, then did the same thing for each F2L pair and OLL/PLL. This is actually good motivation to learn OLL(I did a 25 move OLL)

Fair play 🫡

@JCubes_
@eeeeeeeee
Did you guys use these rules or did you do the solve and then the push ups?
