3x3 solve part in 4x4 solving

Hi,

I was wondering after a few solves with my 4x4... How long does it usually take you to complete CFOP on a 4x4? And which 4x4 do you use? Also, to compare, what's your 3x3 avg?

It takes me about 30 seconds to complete CFOP with a XCube 4, about 40 seconds with a DaYan MF8 and I average 17 with a DaYan Guhong.

Just did a solve with no inspection, fairly standard solve.
19 seconds without parity. I average mid-highish 13.

Using xcube.

I average 17s on a normal 3x3x3. 20s with parity, cross is already solved from Yau. I average 1:05 on 4x4x4.

i avg 15 second on 3x3. on xcube i avg about 20, on dayan low 20's, maru low 20's, shenshou 20-25 (lockups). during a 4x4 solve, after reduction i typically take about 15 second to solve the 3x3. i use yau so cross is already done and i am able to lookahead into the f2l from last 2 edges. i avg about 55-60 on a 4x4.

lol my times double on my maru to about 40 seconds while solving 3x3 on 4x4

i average about 26 seconds on my 3x3 Cube4You

using a baaaad mini QJ:
3x3 stage takes between 15 and 25 depending on parity my normal avg is 12.
general 4x4 avg is 55 i think.

i average about 16/17 on 3x3 and 34 on 5x5 using a vcube (i use K4)

and average about 2min on 5x5
