So since I broke my thumb last friday, I've been doing nothing but OH for a week. My average dropped from ~1:10 + REALLY INCONSISTENT to ~58 + inconsistently inconsistent. I figured it was time to record an average of 5, so here ya go.

Does anyone have any good tips for OH? Average solve breakdown: F2L- 33s OLL- 10s, PLL: 14s
Can I inspect with 2 hands at competition?

Stats:
Cube: Dayan Guhong v1
Individual times: (49.280), 55.212, 54.328, (1:06.823), 52.081
Standard Deviation: 1.61
Average: 53.874
Mean: 55.545
Best: 49.280
Worst: 1:06.823

My biggest recommendation is to work on form and technique. Here are two tutorials:

This way of turning isn't the only way to do it, but from my experience it's very fast and simple. You seem like you are struggling a little bit physically.

Also, while a lot of fast OH solvers rotate the cube during the f2l, they rarely rotate while inserting a pair. I think inserting pairs in one fluid motion will be easier after you brush up on the technique.

Lastly, if you're really interested in OH, try replacing some PLLs with ones that are made for OH.

You don't happen to have the scrambles, do you?
No, sorry. :/ Next time I'll put scrambles in the description.

I have considered that my hands just get tired, but I don't think it's a strength problem. I've done 135 solves today and my fingers are just starting to get tired. I think the cube is too big. I've tried an F2, but I don't like it's reverse cutting abilities. I dislike my ZhanChi for OH, and I have a lingyun v2. The size of the lingyun v2 is perfect, but I don't like the feeling of it. It's too.... Something, idk what. I really like the feel of the guhong though, so I use that. Any suggestions for other good OH cubes?

I'll work on my turning, and yes, I am learning 2/3gen PLLs right now. So far I have both U's, H, Z, J's, F, all 4 G's, N's, A's, and V. I'm learning E and the R's next, I think, then I'll do T, Y, and a different V, because I don't really like mine right now.
