32.53,(38.67),35.05,34.46,(31.07 PLL Skip) = 34.16
Cube: YJ Chilong
What can I do to improve? I am working on being full color neutral.

Hi PJKCuber, you seem to pause for a long time during your f2l in need to search for the edge and corner pieces. I suggest practicing look ahead, which requires you to not actively think while looking for the next edge and corner piece. Also, you need to be more familiar with more f2l cases and intuitively learn more algorithms that require less moves to complete an f2l case. Apart from f2l, your tps could use some work, and it wouldn't hurt to learn more algorithms to achieve full PLL and OLL.
It's all about practice. Keep it up!

Totally agree. F2L F2L F2L!!! When I was around your speed I was working purely on F2L. (I'm still pretty bad at it now anyway haha) Imo you're never too fast to work on your F2L, it takes the longest amount of time in CFOP! I would start learning the f2L cases by heart (intuitively of course), and also increase your tps a little bit. To be honest I wouldn't learn full PLL or OLL until your F2L is somewhere near 12-15s. As many cubers will attest to, you can easily be sub 15 with 2 look OLL (which is what I'm aiming for).

Good luck :)

Color neutrality really doesn't help you all that much at your speed, definitely go for practicing your f2l.

Although I do agree practicing f2l is very important I think some people say it's better to learn colour neutrality earlier rather than later. Who says he can't do both at the same time. I guess it's up to the individual cuber though (:

Keep going with color neutrality if you want to, don't let other people discourage you because of your speed. Cubing should above all be fun, so go for it!

I would suggest turning much, much slower, making your solves more fluid, focusing on look-ahead. At the start you will get about the same times as you do currently, but you will learn a lot more about what is happening on the cube, which is trivial when trying to get better. Turning slower will in time make your solves faster.

Yes, I totally agree with you. Feliks Zemdegs 1st timed solve was around 10 minutes because he started color neutral. But saving one move on a cross especially at 6-7 tps can save 0.1 second(decisive at the top level). Besides it make the transition into F2L more fluid.

Yeah, but to become neutral enough to be able to get that small advantage is time that could be spent getting a 5 second advantage on F2L.

It's really just a bunch of practice. Your turn speed is a little on the slow side, but that's completely OK at your speed. Work on Cross and F2L the most, and I would say practice triggers like R U R' U', and other similar things. Try to do it continuously, as fast as you can. Also drill algorithms. This will increase your turn speed. And keep being color neutral.

If you want to be color neutral, you should start early and never deviate from it. What you just said is awful advice and it blows my mind that you would say something like that. Nobody fast has EVER switched to being color neutral and surpassed their non-CN times. Of course color neutrality won't help your speed much when you're at 30 seconds. But if you aren't color neutral then, you will never be color neutral even when you are fast enough for it to matter.
