30.03 solve

you already know what to do, practice :)
cross on orange? im impressed :D. are you color neutral or do you always do it like that?
you should work on your cross more

I don't claim to be an expert, but I have heard enough advice from those who are to piece together what they may say about your solve. Without further ado:

I noticed that you have a lot of cube turns: I would try to eliminate them as much as possible. Much of the time, one could have done without a cube turn: at 0:06, you notice you do F2, then zU2L'R. You could have done F2L2D'U for the same effect. You seem have the same problem I and a number of other cubers I know have: you rush during your solve. Many times your motion seems jerky. I would try to relax. You do your U-perm very erratically; you had to do RR instead of R2, and your fingertricks don't flow smoothly from one to the next. I personally have done that U-perm (same direction) in 1.25 before. Look ahead is nice, and it comes most easily with going slow and relaxing.

I'm sorry if this comes out harsh; it was not my intention. Good luck getting sub-25!

"I know I suck at look ahead so any comments about that will be deleted."

What an odd thing to say. Look ahead is everything. Not only that, but your look-ahead is particularly bad. Look at how often the sub-20 cubers pause, and then look at how often you pause.

Sure there are other things you can work on, but look ahead is what will really make you faster. It's like asking how to get better at math without learning how to add or multiply. It's possible to get better, but if you want to be any good at all there are some easy improvements to make there.

Cross is too long. 6 seconds? You can do better.

F2L is 16 seconds. Practice looking for the next pair ahead of time by stopping at a pair before you finish, and find the C/E pair before you continue.

OLL 4. Not bad considering 2 look OLL.

PLL 3(+1 sec recognition). If you average 3 with recognition, then it's not bad, it's just that U perms can be a bit faster.

Hope this helps.

EDIT: "I know I suck at look ahead so any comments about that will be deleted." Always use comments to help you, if you want to get better, then you better listen to what others say. If not, then don't ask for help.

when have you started cubing? how many algorithms do you know? maybe you could make a breakdown of your solves (your average solves)
