I just started doing this, now I got three decent cubes.

The Jap Kit is extremely good, but i dont really want to pay 45 AU$ for it. I tried one at the melbourne open.

You can get them on cube4you or cubefans for 20 bucks its the Rubiks Speed Cube II I think. It has Rubiks color scheme and logo. But mine is too pop prone, Rama any way on how to fix this? I adjusted the tension as best I could, but if I tighten it it gets too slow. And the pops arent so common, just very explosive, like 3-5 pieces at a time.

Whenever I handscramble the Japanese Speedcubing-kit I have to make myself aware that it can pop any moment.

I suggest you try silicon gel for too loose cubes, it makes your cube a lot thighter and slower.
