[Help Thread] 3 BLD

this thread covers a lot of common FAQ and resources about blind including memorization

I read it but i don’t understand how is everyone is getting the idea so easily. It is really hard I don’t know where to start and what to do. I am contemplating quitting.
I think we need more information on what you are stuck on. You said you learned the whole “method”. What does that mean? Do you know your letter scheme? Are you having trouble understanding cycles? Do you have the algorithms memorized? Do you not know the first step when you scramble the cube? Do you know how to create letter pairs?
BLD is really fun, and there’s nothing like the first success, so don’t give up!

Ok so I know the alg’s except the parity one I just use a Jperm instead. So I start by solving edges using the bld method, first I identify where the buffer has to move to and then I close my eyes and then setup and then algorithm and then undo setup and then I open my eyes if I make a mistake I try to fixit or I dnf the solve, I do the same thin* with corners.

I recommend learning the R perm for parity, because the J perm doesn't exactly swap the pieces that need to be swapped.
