Okay, I've mastered the Right inverted, Down inverted, Right, Down algorithm, it helps alot solving the 2x2x2 cube =)

However I have an issue since I can't really think in those abstract ways and create sollutions of my own...The lack of brainpower is frustrating XD

Anyway, I have a piece I need to move, like in the algorithm I talked about, however the piece is on the left side instead of the right...Can I modify the algorithm to work reversed? I tried simply doing Left inverted instead of Right inverted, didn't work x_x

Or you could just use Petrus.
</joke>

Why don't you just turn the cube so that the piece is on the right? Not sure how your method works, so if that happens to be a completely preposterous proposition, then never mind.

I have tried flipping and twisting the cube but it won't work. Dunno if it's becouse I'm dumb or what...Anyway, I'm still a newbie so I don't know any fancy stuff yet, just the basics of orientation and those things, plus two algorithms.

Ri Dd R D
and
U R Ui Li U Ri Ui L U

No offense, but that made me laugh :D.

On-topic: I don't really understand what your problem is. The R' D' R D algorithm, as far as I know, is used for orienting (twisting) pieces, not for switching them.
