can someone please help me to solve the 2x2, like tell me or let me know of a good site, and i can solve a 3x3 but i dont want advice like "oh well just do this like you do on a 3x3 just do the same thing" i would just really like to know how to actually solve a 2x2, i have the top layer i just need the bottom

I would also recommend Erik's site. Also, treat the 2x2 as the corners of a 3x3, literally.

Yeah. I brought a 2x2 to school, where everyone seems to use a different method to solve the 3x3. I just say: "All right, imagine that this is the ordinary cube, except at any point in time, the edges will instantaneously warp to wherever you want them to be. Then you just have to do the corners."
