2x Haiyan Memories and he can't even solve...

Yeah, but the OP is entering into this trade knowing that he's fleecing the guy. He's not lying, no, but I would say that he's being deceitful. He knows that what he's doing is ripping off the guy and he's still going through with it even though the guy doesn't know any better. He's taking advantage of the guy.

What would be funny is that the guy he's trying to scam finds this forum and then reads this topic. It was pretty smart of this guy to tell him to look it up, and then come here and post about scamming him. Oh, and Karma is a *****!

Well it doesn't really matter the value of his item to trade at all(based off $), the quality that the potential owner believes it to be by trying it, is what mattters.

It sounds like you're just being immature and jealous of this guy. You whine and then blow up when people criticize you. Calm down, and actually think about how you are coming across when you post something on the web (or in real conversations too).

I don't see anything unethical about trading a 4x4 for a 3x3 if that's what he wants to do, but I do think you are being malicious and need to adjust your attitude.

Or you could teach him in exchange for a Hayian.
Sorry if this has already been said. I don't really want to read 7 pages containing (likely based on the 1st page) stupid posts.

edit - I read some of the posts and just thought I'd add this since some of you think it's silly to have a top end cube when you're starting out.
I just got a new house mate and taught him LBL the other day. When he solved it without help later that evening I GAVE him a Cubesmith tiled GuHong.

lolragequit. But yeah, I'm an a-hole like the other guy said, so if I were you I would do the deal.

Anyway, you definitely should take the deal, mainly to show him a lesson. You could also teach him a method that doesn't exist just to confuse him, and then when he says it doesn't work, you can say either he did it wrong or he didn't do it long enough.

I was trying to make a point.

If he's prepared to make something he knows is not fair, just to rip a kid off, why even make a trade, he can just steal it. And if he's prepared to rip the kid off just because he's jealous, maybe he's prepared to use some physical violence too.

I was just trying to make him think twice about ripping peple off and perhaps make him not do it.
