This is the forum awards, but I wasn’t sure if this was an official thing bc I’m pretty new so it’s the unofficial: was it already a thing?
Here is 2021’s thread, which also includes all the previous years within the original post. If you plan on taking this over this year, I suggest formalizing it much more than you currently have as well as including all the categories from past years. Read through last year’s thread to look at the suggested format by the community (which includes not actually starting anything until January 1), and take suggestions from there.

I’m not going to do it this year due to being very busy and very inactive on the forums, but it would be great if a responsible, organized person could take it over.

If people want me to, I’d be willing to organize the forum awards (I did it in 2020 with Ben). Although to be honest it’s pretty late in the year to get this process started, typically nominations are done sometime in mid-late November and voting is all throughout December, with results coming in in early January.

If I were to do it I’d probably just use the same categories as 2021, maybe adding a couple if there were some popular ones people wanted.

It’s also worth noting I haven’t been active at all this year other than very recently

I think having the awards start in mid December makes so much more sense than trying to start it in November before the year is even close to finishing. I would even be in favor of having the award nominations start in January; that makes the most sense to me - so that any notable event or post that happened in the year can count and get voted in the awards.
