Is there such a thing as "1.5 look" or similar? Basically, where you can recognise a certain case, and you can you two algs for 2 look without pausing. For example, I don't know the F perm alg, but if I see one I know I can do a T perm then an H perm right after.

its not 1.5 look...
if you have to pause in between algs to look, even with a bit of anticipation, that's 2 look. otherwise I can anticipate a T perm after OLL and say I did 1 look.
if you can close your eyes and finish that step (OLL or pll) then its 1 look.

so its 1 look if you can get the AUF correct after 1 look, but for simplicity its 2 look since you haven't learned the alg yet

There's such a thing as one-look-two Alg, which is basically what you decribed with the T and H perms. A "look" is just a recognition, whereas an Alg is simply doing one algorithm.

Also, please try to use the one answer question thread next time. You can give me reasons why you thought this deserved it's own thread, but next time please don't create a new thread for something like this. Thanks.

Do a R' U' F' (Tperm) F U R for a F perm :P

So compound oll is better than doing 2 look oll? or faster?

EDIT: Sometimes I have seen Feliks do OLL and PLL at one look and it was not ZBLL so how does he do that?

He can recognise the permutation of the pieces and knows how they will be moved around by the alg, so he knows which PLL he will get.

Here is a simple example, that I saw in his sub 6 video

Do: R' U' R U R' U R U' L U' R' U L' U R U

So he would first do COLL
R2 D R' U2 R D' R' U2 R'
That COLL preserves a block in the back left, and since your permuting corners you only have to worry about EP before preforming the COLL. so if you look at the block in the LL I setup, you can see that the piece in back is solve and the piece on the left needs to go to the front. Therefore we will get a counterclockwise U perm and can do that without pausing. and in this case we can cancel:
R2 D R' U2 R D' R' U R U R U R U' R' U' R2.
