Hello, I've made a video of Rubik's cube backups for when you mess up.
There are tricks for all speeds (well maybe not world class), and they go from when there are 2 swapped pieces on your cross, to recover the 4x4 when you made a mistake in the OLL parity algorithm:
So here it is:
I...
Since I learned the begginer's method I learned some tricks that I can now incorporate into solves (mostly edge insertion). Here are some of example solves:
/* Scramble */
U B2 U L F2 U' L' B2 R B R2 L2 B R2 B' U2 L2 B2 D2 R2
/* Solve */
z2 B2 u' R' U2 F2 D // cross
L' U L2 U' L' //...
Is there a notation for describing fingering for algorithms? Like the way sheet piano music is annotated with fingering?
My notes are littered with annotations like "(g-rt-u)" embedded into algs (= regrip right thumb on U). These help me remember fingerings I've seen in videos or worked out...
Hello, I wanted to know your bad cubing habits, for example if I am timing my self I will sometimes look at the timer and mess up my algorithm. Hope to see some very crazy responses from the community.
