I am a 16 year old highschooler taking ap research and for my project I need people that can solve rubiks cubes for my research and I'm seeing if the time it takes one to solve a cube affects their pattern recognition skills so if you can fill out this form it would be very helpful...
Mine is this one i made up: Crossed Towers.
I used to do this algorithm for that pattern: this. Thats just an h perm and a 4 centers algorithm.
I found the first algorithm by messing around. Also, if you do this, You get an h perm. For some reason.
In today's video I show some extremely easy 5x5 patterns. If you need help with a certain pattern then comment down below and I will try to help!

Just for fun! 6 different “monsters” including a jack-o-lantern and a skull.
No algorithm - I just hand-solved the one green edge for the pumpkin stem, then used variations on the “six spots” algorithm to build the round face and basic eyes/mouth, and from there added details using center-piece...
These took me quite a while, so please enjoy.
For people who want a tutorial: sorry, it would be too time consuming. I solved them kind of intuatively, so I'm pretty sure with some time and effort you could get the same results. Just use puctures or whatever as reference and you're good to...
This was a triumph!
After messing around with some patterns I found one that resembles me the companion cube. It is technically, just a christmas cross + 6 spots.
Hold blue on top and red on front and do:
F' L R' D' U' L2 U2 B' F L2 U2 R'
(look at F and U faces, it resembles it a little.)...
Does any one know algorithms for patterns on a megaminx, like flower or checkerboard
(dont tell me its in the wrong spot I know i didnt know where to put it)
note: before you cry, i'm not a nazi. I just like swastikas. they had a different meaning before the nazi regime. (they still have that meaning actually)
I'm not sure if this is the correct forum. It seems the most relevant to the topic of cubing patterns.
I tinkered around with my cube...
