OK this may sound stupid to some, but oh well..
Whenever I do this PLL:
pll02.gif

x R2 D2 (R U R') D2 (R U' R)

It does NOT yield a solved cube, EVER!
After doing that PLL, I always have to do this one:
pll01.gif

(l' U R') D2 (R U' R') D2 R2

I thought that all corner PLLs solve the cube (I'm learning 4-Look LL btw). Maybe I am wrong...
I am performing the alg correctly, I made sure of that.
If there is an alg to solve that first scenario then can someone tell me one that works?
Basically, I don't know if I am doing something wrong or not... And I don't want to learn a bad PLL.
Sorry if I used any terms wrong, I am a relatively new cuber.

Anyway, can someone please help me?

There is another thread about the same topic here:

The answer is that for the counter-clockwise cycle, the picture is incorrect. For both cases, the already permuted corner piece should be on the lower left hand side of the U - Face.

If you didn't already, make sure you search the forums before you ask a question! :)
