Wtf... OptiCubes should not be "not recommended" because it's closed for now. That's like saying that you not shop at something that doesn't exist. Also, Cube4you is no better than 9spuzzles, and HuskyOmega used to be cheaper for EastSheens. Rubiks.com is a great site for actual rubik's puzzles, and I've had nothing but great service from them. Toys 'r Us and Amazon are also fine for what they have... The only thing that I'm unsure about is cubelube. I've ordered from them before and had no problems. If this is just once case that happened with you, I would not say that it's not strongly recommended.

So basically, you're entire post I find pointless. (Sorry)

No cubelube hasn't shipped to ANYONE, people who have been waiting weeks, some over a month. They haven't payed anyone back, and haven't shipped.
 
I ordered from cubelube.com on October 31st. My pay pal account was charged, but I still haven't received the product. I sent several emails, but never got a response. I have also seen several message posts on this board and others from people who have had the same experience.

This was not my first order wtih cubelube.com, and I had no problems in the past. I can't help but wonder if something happened to the man who runs it, because he used to be so prompt with shipments and he used to respond to emails right away.

Frankly, I couldn't care less about the $5.95 I lost - I just hope he is ok. But at the same time, I couldn't in good conscience recommend his site to anyone else.
 
Cube4You Delivers Women's Jeans

I just purchased 6 cubes from cube4you.com. I excitedly opened the package once it arrived only to find a pair of boot-leg miss 60 women's jeans. I have made repeated attempts to contact cube4you and have not had a single response.

My experience has left me very disappointed. I have turned to PayPal for a transaction dispute. I still have heard nothing. I had feared this type of problem. The lost ~$70 (I payed for expedited shipping) is not the end of the world but I am extremely disappointed and cannot recommend cube4you.

Seriously: I received Women's Jeans from Cube4You

Not at all. I have the jeans sitting in my home office. The tracking number on the jeans matches that of my order with cube4you.

it's a Dutch site (don't know if they ship further than the Netherlands and Belgium) but it's a very good service.
I orderd an eastsheen 2x2 (smoking fast machine :D ) and i got it within a week.

I am being completely honest. I ordered 6 cubes (see screen capture from order below). If you still don't believe me I can post the packaging with the tracking # and tracking # in the receipt once I finish work for the day.

I really don't know what to do. I have tried to contact [email protected] via email without success. I have filed a dispute with PayPal.

I ordered a cube from cube4you in December and it came without any problems. After receiving it I felt comfortable making a larger order. Obviously my skepticism was valid. If anybody has any suggestions please let me know.

Well I don't doubt that you made the order. But why not post a picture of the jeans, the package, something like that. And why would cube4you send you jeans?

I expect the reason I got the jeans is that the items (the jeans and the DIYs) come out of a large warehouse in China and accidentally the wrong packing slip was placed on the Miss 60 jeans. I will post a picture of the jeans when I get home. As I mentioned I am at work and the package is at home.

What about Ed's Think Shop? I know it's down for now, but when (if) he gets it back up, I think it should go under "strongly recommended".
 
Hey - do the jeans fit??? I didn't know they made a Misses size 60 - are they huge??? Sorry, I can't help but laugh - I have the same skepticism every time I place an order. This is why I ALWAYS get the expedited shipping - if I have a problem I don't want to know about it too late to resolve it.

Thought I would post the picture of the jeans and the packaging. Incidentally the jeans are Miss 60 size 27. The length is incredible. They are long enough for me and I am 6' 1".

I tried to contact Rubik via email and no response. I tried via Paypal and had no luck. Rubik refused to settle the dispute with me and escalated the dispute with Paypal. Paypal resolved the issue saying that they cannot ensure the item if purchased outside of ebay.

The tracking number on my order matches that of the Jeans. I just posted over at the cube4you forum. I guess my next effort will be to Skype Rubik. I am sure that it was an hones mistake. Possibly a postal problem at the origination site. Unfortunately, somebody has my cubes!!!!! I hope that I am able to get it resolved. I guess we will see.
