    Loopover Methods

At my peak I was sub 1.9 on keyboard on 3x3 with the "BLFT" method you describe. LBL is not a viable method for speedsolving but it is one of the most viable compared to other methods I have researched. You can use LBL to one look solves and use efficient LBL-specific moves to create more...

Void Cube Speed Method (that may already exist)

VoidRoux is a method I came up with today that is a fun solution to the puzzle's main crux: parity. This is the annoyance of any 3x3 solver solving the Void Cube for the first time, coming across an impossible case, and being frustrated about how to solve it. Parity arises from the void cube...

The Orcuber's Hunt For The Best 3x3 Method

Really ZB is as optimal as you can get. Speedcubing isn't about thinking. The first step, is basically an alg you make up in 8-12s, then you do 4 mini algs, and 2 sets of longer algs. So basically you are just doing algs the whole solve. EO is slow because it has bad ergonomics, not enough to...

The Orcuber's Hunt For The Best 3x3 Method

I have a method created: Piece by piece ll skip method. After you solve the cross you do one alg for each pair: Edge orientation Edge permutation Corner permutation Corner orientation After you do this the ll will always be skipped

A Different Organization Governing Cubing? Idea (WMCA)

We all know that WCA events are divided into two categories, speedsolving events, and mental events. Speed events: Everything besides mental events (maybe also 4Bld or 5Bld) Mental Events: FMC, MBLD, 4BLD, 5BLD Most "mental" events are not hosted by competition organizers because they are long...

Hi guys I need help on doing a fast white cross like really fast and tips and how to do a good inspection time thanks

As a 15-second solver: To solve the cross efficiently you need to first figure out what color you do. Pick between yellow and white, since they are basically the same. For the actual solution, you need to think about solving multiple pieces at once instead of using an inserrt for each piece. I...

Cuber's League Season 1 - REGISTRATION OPEN FOR ORGANISERS

I was thinking you could have a fantasy cubing league for any given large championship, so you mostly have lesser known cubers but at least one good one, maybe I will understand fantasy sports if I have this

[Help Thread] Please help me I don't know where to start

The clock is a very unique puzzle, and it is also the only puzzle in the WCA that is completely inuitive. Good Things: Unique ergonomics, unique look, competition, fast times Pain Points:The nature of the solved state needing a flip to verify, unique ergonomics and look, scrambling. I'm sure a...

[Help Thread] Please help me I don't know where to start

    1. https://jperm.net/bld 2. https://www.cubeskills.com/uploads/pdf/tutorials/f2l.pdf FTO is a very worth it puzzle because it will probably be added to the WCA, the main governing body of speedcubing. It adds two sides to the normal rubik's cube. It is sort of like a fusion between a 4x4, and a...

    Multi-Flip Clock Methods

For any good clock solvers/method developers out there, I have a question about flip/no flip I currently main the method 10-move memoless, and it's a more efficient method than the standard Flip method. However, I wonder how many moves you could acheive if you could flip the clock multiple...

    WCA 4- Pad Mode?

I think it would be a nice change of pace for the WCA. It would make most foreign timers besides the Speedstack timers pointless, so there might be some backlash for those people. I understand that Speedstack is the only approved timer, but still.

    Curvy Copter Discussion(New)

It has results on the speedsolving.com forum. If any good curvy copter solver sees this, how are you so fast, what fingertricks and algs do you use??? And I made the mistake of trying to mod my CC. Now the pieces move past each other better but it also catches a lot.
