F R F2 R' U2 L' D2 L' B2 U2 R U' B D2 B2 D R2 U' F Pretty easy triple-x cross. Last pair was bad though, and last layer was alright.

I was doing a 7x7 session, and an outer center piece popped out of the cube. I looked up how to fix pops on youtube but I could only really find how to reassemble and disassemble cubes, and I think disassembling my whole cube for 1 piece is a bit overkill.

I'm not really sure if I'm qualified to tell you how to get good at blockbuilding since I only average around 10 seconds for first and second block, but what I think might help is to get good at x-crosses and becoming used to using a lot of m and m' moves to make pairs if you aren't already...

Kind of forgot about this due to me being very busy the past week, but I've now officially switched to roux from cfop. I've tried to switch in the past but I could never fully commit because I never managed to make progress with roux, but out of nowhere like 4 days ago, I started averaging 20-21...

Second update: new roux pb out of nowhere. 16.43, which is a bit faster than my old.

Update: I watched some example solve videos by Kian and Kangaroux and I finished my first 100 solves. My current average is 23, which is because I fixed some efficiency problems I had after watching the example solves. I learned a couple anti-sune cmll cases, and my goal is to learn all of them...

I made a thread quite a long time ago asking if it was a good idea to become method neutral because methods are one of the most interesting things in cubing to me, and now, I have decided to embark on an average of 5k in a row with each method I know to see if I improve at all with them. For...

Yep thats him. Thanks

A couple months ago I watched a video of a 4 second unofficial roux single by a method neutral cuber. I checked out his channel and he had a videos on other methods to. I can't remember the channel name anymore and I was wondering if anyone knew who he was.

I made a thread like 2 months ago on this scramble, but never made a full reconstruction because I was lazy. I just remembered it today, so I dug up the scramble and decided to actually do a legit reconstruction D2 L2 U' F2 D' L2 F2 U' R2 U' R' B L U' F D B R2 D' F z2 F2 R' F' D' y' U' L U'...

After making the first 3 cross pieces and inserting the blue-orange pair into the back, I rotated to where blue was in front. Then I did Rw U' Rw' to insert the last cross edge.

Oops that was my bad. After rotating the first time and inserting orange-blue, you're supposed to rotate again so you can do the blue cross piece. I didn't notice that I did that thanks for pointing it out.

"i'Ve haD DOZENS oF ACTUAL sUB-10 fAilS bEforE"--🤓. I don't have a problem with you pointing out that it wasn't necessarily a "sub-10 fail" but I do have a problem with you acting like you're better than me because you're faster. No one thinks your multiple plus 2's are cool. Stop flexing your...

So I average around 20 seconds, so you may be thinking, "how is this going to be a sub 10 fail?" and you would be right, but I just got the luckiest scramble I've ever seen. D2 L2 U' F2 D' L2 F2 U' R2 U' R' B L U' F D B R2 D' F (I don't know how to do reconstructions properly so sorry in...

Thinking about it now, it does sound similar to roux. I came up with this after learning commutators and I thought that if I made a layer plus 2 f2l pairs I could solve the rest of the left side using commutators, but then it hit me that I could just do coll and possibly come up with an alg set...

Back with another probably bad method idea: Step 1. Solve a face plus 2 f2l pairs on the left Step 2. Do coll to solve the top corners Step 3. Do an algorithm to solve the UL edge (or more; I just came up with this and don't know how to gen algs) Step 4. Do another algorithm to solve the rest...

Like i could just use the edge orienting algorithm for 2 look OLL and just do a ZBLL

Yep that sounds about right. I came up with that "method" after just messing around with the cube for a couple minutes so its not exactly surprising that someone else came up with it already. And you're absolutely right about it being garbage. I average like more than twice as slow with it than...

Tao Yu was actually my main inspiration to try and become fast at multiple methods. I got interested in learning other methods besides cfop from a youtuber called Blobinati Cuber, but after watching Tao Yu's "sub 10 with 10 methods" and his sub-10 ao12 with petrus, I decided that I wanted to...

I know what pseudoslotting is, but don't have a very good understand of it, so correct me if I'm wrong about anything. I don't think its like pseudo slotting because you aren't really setting anything up or doing multiple pairs at once like pseudo-slotting. Again, I don't really have a good...
