Started with OP corners. Never got further than a few 2x2 BLD solves. Too boring. Now I do sighted intuitive 3-style solves. More fun. Not doing blind yet. Still too many mistakes in execution. No harm in doing sighted solves first to get the basics down. You can learn letters along the way.

Maybe. But not always. Sometimes it is cube rototation. Sometimes setup, sometimes when interchange before insert. Sometimes I forget last interchange I think. Need more focus. Always works when I write it down.

2x2: the Tengyun is still less noisy than the others. MGC (not elite is considered great). Then there is all the cheap ones. 3x3: Moyu WRM is very good and Tornado V3 Standard is not half bad.

Time to switch to Roux :-) less algs than cfop. And lots of fun blockbuilding.

Yes, bookmark it on the phone (works on iOS). It is a Progressive Wep App, and works perfect in offline mode. For algs, use the speedcubedb.net website. Has many algs for each case. Maybe you can find what you knew, or maybe you want some newer ones.

I think liquid is the biggest risk of those you listed, and the screws are more suspectable to it. And if magnets weakens 10% over a year or two, so what ? Any cube behaves different after break-in. RS3M series are heavy, relatively weak (non-adjustable) magnets, slow, blocky. They are popular...

RS3M has always been known for high weight, blocky feel, semi-slow turning, non-adjustable magnets. So I assume that will stay. They just got corner-core magnets, so nothing new to get yet. But the WRM need an upgrade with core/corner magnets. It is now behind the RS3M.

Few children at my sons school cubes. My son doesn’t really want to put the effort in. i do at work. During teams calls or a solve as quick break. Turning nice and slow to suppress noise.
