I haven't taken any classes yet. All I have is a book of all the driving rules which I'm reading to study for my permit test

I start a class next week. Don't you have to take a written class and test first?

From what I've read you need to take a vision screening and knowledge test

It must be different for different states. I have to take a 2-week class, it's going to be 30 total hours in 2 weeks. Then, at the end, I have to take a final test, then when I turn 15, I have to take a behind-the-wheel test.

Yeah, here you have to be at least 16 to do anything with driving.

In the UK you have to be 18 for driving. I guess it helps with accidents and stuff because generally 18 yr olds are more mature than 16 yr olds.
